Ladies! Now more than ever, do I need your prayers!! I have a very dear friend who has been married FOREVER to an abusive husband. And it was bad!!! Luckily, one day she had had enough and filed a compilant. Of course, he didn't get the message and kept coming back around, and she finally had him arrested.
The thing is, because she has dealt with him for so long and his family, she feels guilt because he will more than likely be in jail for 8 years.
I'm not asking for you all to question why she feels guiltly. We won't understand that - unless you have been through it but I'm asking that you pray to God, to help her with strength to continue to go to court and for God to to protect her (she fears for her & their childs life). She is overwhelmed and wore out and scared.

I will be praying for your friend, Joey! What a tough situation!
It is tought BUT she is finally learning to....can't think of the word or term, but even in todays times, it still happens to the best of us. We don't understand how or why but at least she has had enough of being controlled.

Hey Jo- I just found out two days ago that a friend of mine is going through a divorce b/c of her abusive husband as well. It blows my mind. I feel like such a brat for sitting here some days and sulking because Seth is away. How lucky am I that I know he is going to come back and we will be happy? I can't imagine fearing someone you love. My prayers are with your friend. I hope she can stay strong for her family. I know you will be a rock for her! :)
I will pray for your friend and her child for continued strength and protection.
