The Pledge of Allegiance

I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands,one Nation under God,indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Seven years..started crying this morning watching the news. When the news started showing events from that day. I still can't handle it. So many lives lost, so many heroes.

HEROES, Flight 93, you all were truley the 1st ones to fight back against terrorism that day. You all knew what was happening when you were in flight and knew you had to take that plane down and give your life up for the safety of our Nations Capital. The White House or The Capitol Building were sparred because of your bravery.

Thank you to all of our heroes that day and to all of our Armed Forces for continuing to keep terrorism away from the United States.

To all of the 1st responders - I will never forget the story of a group of workers in North Tower - their emergency door was stuck so the group of 20 people just huddled in a conference room. Then 1st responders got the door open and the workers were free. One man said, "As I descended down the stairwell, I looked up the steps and saw the firemen that just saved us, go up to the stairwell, and I never saw them again".
