So it really is for real, we are being stationed at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. Its about and hour north of where we are now. It is in the beginning part of Western Maryland so the mountain views are great. We have been up to that area (Frederick) many times. Alex's Bowie Hockey Team does tournaments and games there so I guess I could say that I know the area somewhat. Of course you may know of Ft. Detrick from this story ... remember the guy that sent anthrax to congress - well he got it from his job at Ft. Detrick!! Mike and I already figured all the buildings that were code name for basically chemical testing, etc.
Mike and I went up there today and got on the housing list. We decided to wait for the new housing because we are not gonna move until the school year is over. I also timed the drive for the bus ride to the Elementary and High School. The Elementary School is only 10 years old - just like Erich's current one. The Frederick High School is home to the Frederick Cadets and their colors are Black and Gold - just like the colors of WestPoint! My older brother wants to take Alex up to the school in the spring to meet w/ the High School Football Coach. I'm looking forward to Mike going up their to meet w/ his CO, etc to find out the good info, like if there is a deployment in the future, what excatly he will be doing, etc.
Also, Alex has had his 1st football injury - a sprained ankle. He was cute on his myspace cause he said his mood was sad, cause he couldn't play football. But we went to the healthly foot store and got some great arch supports and then got him an ankle brace.
So now onto the good stuff....SUMMER of course!

The above photo is of Alex, Erich, Roxy, Leslie (holding Summer) and Leslie's daughter! I hate this couch. I think its uncomfortable. I hope the movers put a HUGE rip in it so I can get a new one. But they won't cause movers only ruin or break the things you cherish - so I guess I should "cherish" the sofa then, huh?

Oh! Wait! What is THIS!!! Look at that outfit! Everyone at the bus stop and around town LOVED this outfit! I'm sorry I forgot the headband. She will be wearing this outfit again this week cause its been a little cool here. A much better photo for Ms. Kitty Kat will be sent to her!!!

Love Love Love it! Of course, it is 99.9% because Summer is wearing it and .1% because its cute. She is so sweet. I was hoping you were going to be in Cali with me:( But I am glad you will be close to fam! Hey, I need the link again for the trivia game, I always played it by clicking on your link on this blog!!!
