Ready For You Bebe

Bebe will be here so soon. I am ready for you to be out and apart of our family. Dad, Alex, Erich and I can't wait. What are you? Boy or Girl? We sure have had a good time watching you get big in my belly. Alex esp, since he is at such a fun age to see me/you grow. He's been able laugh at my food cravings and grunts. I will say that you have done a number on my back. The pain is terrible, but you are worth it.

Just so you know Bebe there is one addition to our family that is gonna be screamed at alot. Her name is Roxy. She is one hyper-happy doggie. She loves everyone that walks through our door and since we have had her I have had little babies here and she just wants to lick them (yuck)! Don't worry, we will do everything we can to keep her off of you. But as you get older, you will see why we love her cause she is just as happy as can be.

Just can't wait!!!!!!!

Need your Prayers!

Ladies! Now more than ever, do I need your prayers!! I have a very dear friend who has been married FOREVER to an abusive husband. And it was bad!!! Luckily, one day she had had enough and filed a compilant. Of course, he didn't get the message and kept coming back around, and she finally had him arrested.

The thing is, because she has dealt with him for so long and his family, she feels guilt because he will more than likely be in jail for 8 years.

I'm not asking for you all to question why she feels guiltly. We won't understand that - unless you have been through it but I'm asking that you pray to God, to help her with strength to continue to go to court and for God to to protect her (she fears for her & their childs life). She is overwhelmed and wore out and scared.

Almost Golden Girls (almost)

Both of these photos were taken by a cell on the 4th of July, right after the rain stopped BUT just in time for fireworks to go off at Ft. Meade! We have shared many 4th of July's together! 1st the day started w/ an early morning parade and then we ended up here.These gals are friends of mine. We have know each other for 35 years! Me with crooked glasses, Leslie in the middle and Debi on the other end. We once were into heavy metal music and guys with long heavy metal hair - good times we've had. Ocean City, Sandy Point, amusement parks, parties (oh the parties), boys, concerts and way more that should never be available info on the internet!
These are our little ones. Can you tell which one is Erich. Sadly, Alex is not in this photo.

Dark Knightmare!!!

Last night Erich woke up screaming crazy because of the the Batman movie I took him and Alex to on Sunday morning.

Just kidding! No nightmares in this house. We did like the movie and it was long! The Joker was haunting and yes it was violent, but it never showed someone "getting stabbed" or "shot" but you got the idea of what happened. If they did do that the movie would've been rated "R" for sure. But the boys and I enjoyed the movie. I must say, I'm glad that I go to movies like this instead of Hannah Montana movies - thats why I think I am better suited with boys. I still like Superman better but Batmans motorcycle was WAY cool!!!!

Well, its 11am and already 83 degrees - looking forward to going to the pool today and Alex's football season starts tonight. Go Wildcats!

I had told Alex that my girls "Boo'd" me cause I haven't posted a photo of me so he grabbed the camera and caught me coming in from the deck lighting the grill.

That was pretty funny! I'm gonna take Erich as soon as I can get tickets. Alex is going tomorrow morning with some friends, but I am not looking forward to sitting through a 2 1/2 hour movie over a superhero that I don't like. I'm a Superman kinda gal.

Hello hot, hot, hot weather. No coats for trick-or-treating, no bundling up babies in oversized snowsuits and outdoor water b-day parties for Erich and Bebe!

Uh-Oh! The bugs! Yuck! I do hate anything that crawls but babies, but I have dealt with you once before and can do it again!

I can't believe that after 7 years of sitting in the same spot, we are gonna move again. I think I'm scared because its been soooo long. Will the longer days and shorter winters help with my depression? Will Alex adjust, I know Erich will.

Well, gotta let this sink in.....

Dark Knight - Dark Movie

Do you think I'm a bad parent cause I'm taking Erich (who turned 6 this past May) to see the new Batman movie?

See Erich likes, dark, scarey, creepy bad dudes. He likes Venom, of course he liked Spiderman better.

He has seen all of the Harry Potter movies, all Spiderman movies, all Superman and all Indian Jones movies and the entire series of Nightmare on Elm Street - KIDDING (about the Elm Street).

BORED

Bored today!!!! I didn't go to the pool today because it rained all night until about 7am so I know the water will be cold. But man, oh man, is my back in a lot of pain. The pool really helps keep the weight off my back. Speaking of back pain - OUCH!! lower back pain for sure.

I was gonna make my Mother-In-Laws yummy choc chip cookies but since Alex needs to drop some lbs before weigh-ins August 2nd, I decided not too. I should probably tell you about that. Every year Alex has to drop the lbs to play on the team he wants too. This year he had to go from 146lbs to 135lbs. He is down to 139lb. Let me tell you...that child has willpower. He will turn down cake, soda, chips just to make weight. Usually, I get to drop some lbs with him cause I feel bad for him and watch what I eat too, but this year he is on his own.

Well, I'm still bored!!! I wish a Tori & Dean marathon was on....YES I like that show. They crack me up!

Freebie Friday

Well, (kat's freebie friday) is not something I do because I'm afraid that I will then do it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...you catch my drift. But mine would be to stop being broke - come into money (big). Something, anything. I'm soo proud of Lisa getting a job at the church at 7 1/2 months pregnant. I wish I still had my jobs cause I really lost alot of much needed money that kept us going.

Boo Hoo!!! I'm sad about being broke all the time.

Well that wasn't fun, so I don't think I'll do that again.

This Is Mostly For Robin.....

Well, I haven't done anything today except play the card game "War" with Erich. And he beat me!

But I did try to copy a few things from Robin's page. Girl sometimes I can't believe you gave me your address when I was at Benning visiting - can't you tell I'm trying to be just like you...hee hee!!!

And eventhough I didn't comment about it, I keep giggling to myself about Amanda's Princess Camp - Its so different from my life and it just cracks me up. I also can't stop thinking about your little young friend Ty and how sad I am for all of you that knew him. And I didn't post this comment cause I didn't want to sound rude, but when we went to the space center - I was BORED BEYOND BELIEF!!!! Seriously, what did you think of it. BUT the camp did seem like alot of fun!

On the tail end of it

So, I am on the tail end of my pregnancy and I am getting excited. For one, turns out Mike will be allowed to miss 5 school days to come home and help me out after my c-section. What a relief. Another thing is ... I just can't wait to see what this baby is (boy or girl).

Mike also got to come home for the 4th of July weekend and did what I really needed most - be taken care of a few days. It was an "All About Me" weekend.

We got Maryland Steamed Crabs on the 4th, hit an early morning parade and went to Ft. Meade for the fireworks. We also went to Ft. McHenry the next day w/ the boys and my nephews. In case your history sucks, Ft. McHenry is where Francis Scott Key was held on a ship during the Battle of Baltimore (the war of 1812) and was inspired to write the poem "Star Spangled Banner". Did you know that if our US Flag is ever changed that Ft. McHenry is the 1st place in the country to fly it. I did not know that and thought it was interesting.

Caught a break in ice hockey. I wrote a letter to the hockey club and basically said that I cannot afford the $780. fee plus new goalie equipment for a growing 13 year old (leg pads alone can start at $300) and that I need help or he just can't play. Well, they are only charging me $300 for the season. Got a RICH connection on the equipment and I should be meeting up this family soon to get equipment for Alex. I will pay that fee on the next payday cause I just had to pay for tackle football for Alex and that has already ran me $220.00!!! At least we don't need to purchase equipment to play this sport.

PS - Practice for football starts in two weeks - 4 nights a week until school starts at the end of August. GO WILDCATS!!!
