I love Sunday Nights

Okay so the weekend was a busy one, but hey, what else am I going to do. Sit at home with my thumb up my butt? Love my boys activities!!

But I love my Sunday nights the best. Boys in bed, watching Desperate Housewives and the peace. Love the peace in my house and bedroom.

My back hurts. I was on my feet all day on Saturday. Except during Alex's lacross game when I decided to sit in my chair, hike up my shirt and tan my belly. Of course, I'm an idiot and got a sunburn.

Erich's 6th Birthday is this week. I have his presents, just need to wrap them. He picked some super-duper expensive indoor moonbounce place to hold his party in. And I mean expensive. It was just under $200 and that doesn't include, cake, party bags or dinner. What a rip-off. But I spoil my kids when it comes to Christmas and Birthdays. I just can't help it!

I'm so glad Mike only has a month left for BOLC II. Sometimes I wish he picked Infrantry instead of Signal so we could all be living together now.

I'm thinking about getting my haircut short again. Its been years since it was short. Gotta keep thinking about that one though. Esp, since I've been trying to grow it out for locks of love. Long hair is hard to keep healthy and I'm sick of it being long and taking care of it.

Man, I love Sunday nights....I know I already said that. But I do!

SHH!!!!

SHHH!!!

Don't tell the other "officer wives" but I clean houses. Seriously, I go to other homes and clean them up for great money.

Do I have to quit now that Mike is an Officer? I tell Mike that I am getting a cleaning lady the day he makes Captain.

Sadly, I will have to stop cleaning houses at the end of June because of Baby. Does this mean I'm suppose to have more time to clean my house and keep it spic-n-span? Cause my house IS a mess. I think thats why I like having boys cause they are messy as am I. Sometimes I get on a weird kick and EVERYTHING must be put away and kept in its place - but then my "meds" kick in and I settle down. Of course that hasn't happened much because I haven't been on my "meds" since December.

Man, no smoking, no drinking, no meds - how do normal people get through life???

YIKES!!!

Just a note to everyone in case I disappear after this Saturdays chaos! -is that spelled right?

You all know how I have no life because of my boys sports life and this coming weekend just prove it. Long story short everyday of the week Alex has a practice or game somewhere. Erich only has one practice (sundays) and one game a week (wednesdays). So only on Wednesdays do I have to be in two places at once. But everyday, I'm at a field somewhere. This weekend is the annual spring parade for the sport club. Its a good time every year. A friend of mine wanted to know if Alex was going to walk in the parade with his lacross jersey, baseball pants and then his flags from flag football around his waist on. I thought that was pretty darn funny. Luckily, Alex's team is just too old to do the parade.

But I think my schedule is this on Saturday:
7.30AM - drive to GORC park
8am - line up begins for parade - (Erich)
8.30 - send Alex to baseball field (#??? to warm up for game)
9am - parade begins - pray Erich is ok - cause I'm down the road ready to take photos - I ditch my kids every year

Somewhere between 9am - 10am parade ends, judging of banner is over
10am - Alex's baseball game starts
Whenever that game ends - I have to go work concessions (actually volunteer)
Sometime around between 9.30 and ???? - Alex and Erich both have team photos for lacross.

12 noon - Alex has a lacross game - Upper field - that I do remember
1pm - Erich has a lacross game - lower field

Just received an email - GORC parade line up has been moved to from field 7 to field 5 ---- WHAT THE FLIP???

Gotta remember what time the photos are? Is Alex getting team photos taken for baseball too?

Remember that you are parking over by the Jones's house because I can cut through the woods to get to GORC park and avoid all the parking issues.

BRING MONEY TO FEED THE KIDS AND SUNBLOCK!!!!

Okay, go to bed, you have to be up at 5.30am to take the neighbors to the airport. Sure am glad BWI is just a 15 minute drive away.

Awe! Baby just kicked!

UGH!!!

Stupid finance people!!! Why oh why do they do this? I hate how the goverment just hires any retard to work in finance. 13 years in the military and this has happened on more then one occasion...but still!!

Whats my problem? DFAS is my problem. Those idiots decided to change our housing allowance to Ft. Benning and not keep it here in Maryland, so of course, my pay is ALOT lower! Actually our housing allowance comes from Northern Virginia, his last duty station.

Okay, I'm done ranting - I'll just have to charge everything and continue down my spiral of debt! My poor kids - seriously - they won't get anything from us!!! But I will get the stink-eye or yelled out by my sweet husband about our debt and why I charged? But dear, how else do I buy groceries and remember both boys have birthdays this May so there are presents and parties, plus I just wrote two checks in total of $92 for two field trips Alex is going on, what else am I suppose to do when I had to pay the electric bill that was VERY low this month (just under $200). FYI...Maryland gas and electric cost went up 400% this past Sept. So of course our bills are HIGH! Under $200 is GREAT now.

But on the brightside - I only have 1 1/2 more car payments!!!!!

THREE SPORTS!!!

Well good night!!! My older one has decided to play three sports this spring....Flag Football, Baseball and Lacross. This is not my pushing at all. He wants to do it. So of course he makes the "A" teams for Lacross and Baseball and the Flag Football thing is "just for fun thing" that only cost $25. Plus Erich, my younger one, is playing lacross as well.

But today, we started off with a Lacross game (they lost), then went to one of his Baseball games but only made it to the last two innings (they lost) But Alex hit the ball!!! And then came home for dinner and off to Flag Football (they lost) but I had a great time catching up w/ the parents cause we are together in the fall for regular football season.

Alex laughed at how he is 0-3 in losing today! Such a great sport and yes, I did good in teaching him to be a good sport and to remember that it is only a game. Erich was SICK SICK SICK of going from one game to the next.

Tomorrow is just CCD for both of them (of course they don't have the same times, so I drive back and forth), then Erich has Lacross practice and later in the evening Alex will have Flag Football practice or Baseball - I can't remember.

I realized today that I really don't have any hobbies because Alex's sports are my hobbies and now Erich is starting them as well. Luckily I still bring my crossword puzzles to do while the kids do warms up before games.

Fabulous Friday

So, today was a busy day I actually showered, shit and shaved before the last kid got on the bus - way to go ME!!!

But before I got in the shower my younger one and I were hanging out in bed and he finally got to feel the baby kick. He face was so wonderful, full of joy and amazement at the sametime. And then Baby put on a show for "E".

So after my shower, I went to Home Depot and got a new back screen door and took back a friends extention ladder that I have had for almost a year, hung some blinds that the boys needed and we have been living in this house for 6 years. Got the boys out of school early, picked up my best bud, (we've known each other since we were two) and we all went to see Baby on the TV!! We all had such a fun time. We even got to see Baby in 3-D! Which I didn't know was going to happen. Baby looks just like my other kids, my friend says Baby looks like me.

My older one is all excited about the Caps game tonight and my younger one is finally asleep!!!

My turn to relax!!!!

Here I go.........

So, here I go! Blogging. I have been inspired by a new found friend that I met on another forum. You know who you are kitty-KAT!!! 303-08 Girls ROCK!!!!

Apparently, I had set up this account a LONG time ago and just plain ole forgot about it. Not sure what I will type so I'll start w/ the ME :)

My husband is in the Army (beat navy). He has been in for 12 years and now has now just completed OCS. (retirement pay will be so much better). I've never been a good military spouse. I'm friends w/ whoever I get along with and don't care what my military spouse friends husbands rank is or if they are enlisted or officer. All this time in the military and we've only been to three places as a family, Hood, Vilseck and Meade. But Honey-Bunny has been "stationed" in VA & Korea and currently is in Georgia until Sept. We as a family just choose to stay in Maryland. I have 5 brothers and sisters. My older son loves how many there are of us and how he has a 11 cousins living nearby.

Well, thats it for today. Oh I should mention I quit smoking last year after 23 years of enjoying it! I miss it everyday, esp now that weather is getting warmer.
