Oh Man!

Oh Man! I haven't written in sometime now.

My man, Alex had a 13th birthday party. He actually turned 13 on the 12th of May but we surprised his Dad when he came home on leave and did his party over the Memorial Weekend. Paintball!!!!! Many injuries - well I should say, many bruises and such. Photos will be posted over the weekend.

Mike and I bought a new bed. Ours is 13/14 years old and sucks. We downsized to a queen and got a soft mattress.

Mike, Alex, Erich and I went to see the new Indiania Jones movie over the holiday weekend and Alex, Erich and I liked it alot. Mike was taking naps during it - for shame on him. He can nap at home for FREE!!!

The boys and I are heading to my younger brothers house (Steven) and we will visit his wife, Mia and their two young daughters, Reese and Rowan. They are taking us to Coney Island and to a Juniors Cheesecake in Brooklyn. Last time we went to visit them was last Thanksgiving and we all went to NYC to the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade and got GREAT bleacher seats and the weather was GREAT!!!

I can't wait to see SEX AND THE CITY the movie!!!! I hope I get a chance over the next week. I think I'll go during the day when the boys are at school.

My puppy Roxy got a swimming pool this past week and LOVES it!!! Its really tiny, like her.

It's Friday

Well, Mike finished BOLC II and is coming home for the holiday weekend to visit. I am really looking forward to it but not looking forward to the bathroom fan running 24 hours and a stack of used matches on the side of the sink and the snoring & farting (silent ones too) at night. I need to keep him busy during the day, work hard, so he won't nap during the day and then he should sleep much, much better at night. I sound mean don't I? But you don't have to sleep w/ him, so you shouldn't judge me.

The Firhouse has its annual Spring carnival and we are going tonight. Thats always a great place to watch over $100 disappear. Although, since Mike doesn't ride rides and I can't this year, it might not be as expensive - wait scratch that - there maybe some food there I want.

Yesterday Erich was off school for kindergarden conferences & we watch the girls across the street. Erich has decided - on his own - that he does not want a baby sister. Why you ask yourself? Well, according to Erich, girls scream way to much. Guess what, Erich is right, they did. He then reminded me of the girl in his class (Sarah) that cries all the time for her Mom & Dad. Trust me, she does, I've seen it and this child has been in Kindergarden all year long. Erich - You are one smart cookie with rooster hair in the morning!!!

No more looking cute pregnant :( Swelling is starting to kick in. Bummer...Mike comes back for a visit so now I'll look way to big.

Of course it could be the seasoning from the 17 crabs I ate last night with the girls!!

AHHH Friday!

So last Friday, I was treated to a spa pedicure (by my gal Leslie) and ever since then I have not been out of my flip-flops! I always go for a "slut-looking pink" to usually go with my sorta "slut-high" flip-flops, but so far I like my $4.00 ones I found with my girlfriend (my pal Debi) this past week when we went to lunch and listened to an old man fart. I also got the "grass mowed" this week. I think getting my tattoo was easier.

This Friday, was the volunteer breakfast at the elementary school. I WON!!! I WON!!! I actually got a basket full of crap. Besides all the donuts and fruit they had some breakfast chicken thing from Chic-Fil-A and it was so good!!! Gotta take the boys there one morning for breakfast.

Mike will be home next Friday. I'm so excited! No ball games, so its gonna be nice. I think I'll ask his family to come down for a day for lunch/dinner or something as easy as a pizza party. But that should be it. I just want to hang with him and the kids.

Only one more car payment and my minivan is ALL MINE BABY!!!! Can't wait. Cause after that I'm gettting it detailed cause its a mess. There is dried up ice cream in a cup holder. Gum stuck to the back seat and its just plain yucky. I should have the "check engine" looked at but like my friend said after she noticed the paper covering up the light - "if you don't see it, then there's no problem". Thats right - I'll deal with that later.

1st - I went out back to take out the trash - cause you know..its my day to do everything and I found a nice muddy wall create by Erich and his two friends, Ty & Dylan. See photo :)

2nd - My older one is asking for Lunch - typical guy!!! Make soup for yourself kid - I have laundry to do.

But the best is the card I have recieved by Erich - beautiful on the outside and saying ' hab mudr die" on inside.

Time to scrub a wall!!!

How Slow Can Joey Go....

I was laughing for a day or two about my fellow 303-08 gal (Kelly) and how she is trying to pack an entire house in about 6 minutes. I started thinking how slow I am going on clearing, cleaning, and taking down furniture and moving furniture and putting furniture together and covering up nail and tack holes and painting.

This is just in one room that is in a townhouse. I started late last Saturday afternoon. My poor Alex. It started with his bed, I had to take his big full size captains bed apart and slowly bring it WAY downstairs to the basement. Alex has been sleeping in Erich's room and Erich has been sleeping with me. I hope I'm done by the end of next week.

BTW - Alex wants to share a room with the Baby, so that is why this work is getting done.

Forgot on more thing to say...

As I have mentioned before, I love the show Desparate Housewives. Such a funny show, but I must say, Three Cheers to Gabby for never being politically correct!!!! Telling the wheelchair guy that he gets to roll around all day while she has to walk around in heels, and telling the gay neighbors that gay men are well known for being so dramatic!

Way to go girl - I hate political correctness - it has gotten out of hand and on my nerves.

All we have to do is be kind to one another and everything else falls into place!

Just A Note

I figure that I need to type something because Ms. Kitty-Kat - Kat-In-The-Hat, ALWAYS has something great to write about.

I've got nothing. Its the same ole, same! Except, Erich did have a 6th Birthday!!! Yahoo for E!!!! The party was held at one of those moonbounce places and for once (except after having kids), I didn't have to do ANYTHING!!!! It was nice having some other people taking care of everything for me. Well worth the $200 price tag!!!!

Writing about not doing anything, Mike is coming home for Memorial Weekend and I really hope he does my request and stops thinking he is on vacation and doesn't nap and sleep-in and wait for dinner and stare in the food pantry. I seriously hope he will - FOR ONCE come home on some leave - and take care of me. Get up, at 6am and walk the dog, vacuum, pick up the house, bring the laundry up and down the stairs for me, do the trash, clean the DAMN bathrooms w/o my request. I know, I sound rude. I know they work hard too, but you ladies out there w/ kids know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm pooped! And he isn't going to be here after Baby is born to take care of me the way he has after the other two. Besides, he sleeps in and naps and watches movies on the weekends ALL the Time - and probably watches golf too.
